At Chortiatis villgae, opposite of the church of Saint George and next to the Byzantine Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior we can find a Macedonian Residence built during the period of Turkish rule. It is a two-storey, building of traditional Macedonian architecture, which was declared preservable and was completely reconstructed under the supervision of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Thessaloniki Region.

Exterior lighting system was designed to highlight the character and illuminate the alleys. Interior lighting followed the basic photometry requirements as an office, accommodation and storage area for the guards.
