Combining natural light’s attributes, lighting should aim to serve and fulfill human needs of Senses (vision-optical comfort), Spirit (emotion & symbolism) and Aesthetic Quality (architecture & structures).
Around these 3 axes, a synthesis of lighting elements, developed spatially and in relation to time, is what we define as “Lighting Design”.

Natural light, earths magnificent life-giving element, is indissolubly linked to our vision, health and good psychology. We believe in lighting that draws inspiration from the sun – the moon – the starlit sky,
Its periodical and yet dynamically changing character – hues, brightness & shades – fascinates us and challenges us to plan varying lighting scenes in time.
Artificial lighting is a man-made gift to humans, and should be used in prudence and respect to ourselves and our earth-mates. We plan human-centric lighting, introduce adaptive lighting scenarios for exterior lighting, respect our planet’s dark skies. And always ask ourselves:
“Artificial lighting? Is it necessary?”
Human-Centric lighting: Circadian rhythm, psychology and health of living beings can be disordered by extreme and unreasonable artificial lighting.
Dark Skies Preservation: Lighting Pollution can extinguish the sky from our sight. We follow Dark Skies Associations guidelines and regulations.
Energy efficiency, natural light’s contribution, new technologies, smart management, operating profiles, different scenarios.
Standards, art, nature, experience.
